yesterday my friend britt and i took a road trip (accompanied by bruce springsteen, and a little education in woody guthrie) to the shenandoah mountains. we sat under the stars, wrapped in blankets, with good whiskey, the pipe, chocolate and clove cigarettes telling stories well into the night... i am still smiling.
