borrowed words, borrowed boats

“This song was written after seeing a film called Fitzcarraldo, which was directed by a German director, Werner Herzog. It’s about a man pulling a ship over a mountain, and I just thought it was a lovely idea so wrote I song about it…because I think a lot of us are pulling stuff over mountains.”
